The IRIS, Inc. signed an agreement on March 18. 1996 with the Department of Biomedical Engineering of the First Military Medical University in Guangzhou, Peoples Republic of China. This Agreement wil enable the IRIS, Inc. and the First Military Medical University at Guangzhou to exchange and cooperate on medical imaging QA techniques and visiting lecture services. In particular, IRIS test methods and phantoms will be used to test equipment in hospitals of the Peoples Liberation Army.

Beijing, China

A second Agreement for cooperation was signed with the Research Center for Quality Control of Clinical Medical Instruments form the Capital University of Medical Science, Beijing. Peoples Republic of China under the direction of Professor Mingchen Peng. This Agreement calls for exchange of visiting scholars to learn techniques about medical imaging QA and corresponding data processing. The Agreement also calls for collaborative QA research in China and the United States. The Research Center for Quality Control of Clinical Medical Instruments is part of the State Pharmaceutical Administration of China, Department of Medical Device Administration, in Beijing, China.
